CARDRONA ALPINE RESORT, NEW ZEALAND, AUGUST 20th - 26th 2012
The FIS Snowboard and Freestyle Ski Half Pipe World Cups are being held from August the 20th until the 26th August 2012 at Cardrona Alpine Resort, Wanaka.
Around 200 of the world's elite snowboarders and free skier's will take part in this spectacular event. Being a volunteer at the FIS Snowboard and Freestyle Half Pipe World Cups will not just be rewarding and motivating but also gives you an opportunity to utilize your skills, learn new skills, meet new people, and be a part of the action as well as have fun at the same time.
The World Cups will require in excess of 150 volunteers and we are looking for a team of enthusiastic, reliable and friendly volunteers to be part of our team to help deliver this spectacular competition. There are a variety of volunteers roles that are sport and non sport related. We require volunteers to help with on snow related jobs such as slippers, signage and equipment and various marshal roles.
Volunteers will be given training for some of the specific roles where required and all volunteers will be well briefed by one of the crew. Food and drinks will be provided on days worked during the event. We are also able to help with transport from Wanaka up the hill for roles on the mountain.
